Rapid Development & Prototyping

Overview

Development Accelerator platforms have gained prominence in the last decade. Starting with website development platforms like Wix and Squarespace, the accelerator model provides an alternate approach to typical development cycles. As this concept gained traction, businesses created solutions for mobile application development, and ultimately enterprise application development. These platforms accomplish three primary goals:

  1. Reduce time to market
  2. Reduce Cost
  3. Increase flexibility/maintainability

Why Atomm?

As with most other software platforms and solutions, the concept of Development Acceleration has been approached in many ways. Our approach comes from the tenants and practices of Object-Oriented Programming and Master Data Management. Development Acceleration has resulted in a platform that is both simple and powerful. Enabling users to build any application they might need efficiently and with a robust foundation. Additionally, we recognize that there is a fourth goal of Development Accelerators.

Increase the number of people involved in the development of the solution and enable non-technical people within the organization to join the conversation

Ultimately ATOMM accomplishes all these goals with a configurable sandbox of features that can empower a business for years to come.

Business Challenges

Large Organizations

Politics and siloed budgets in large organizations make it difficult to create a uniform approach to deploying software.

Mid-Sized Organizations

When a business is in the middle of its growth cycle, there is a tendency to take the “if it isn’t broken, don't fix it” mentality. This means that adopting new technologies can pose a perceived risk to the organization.

Small Organizations

To get a business off the ground, it's critical to focus on the immediate problems at hand. Enabling the business-technologically can take a back seat.

Benefits of Adoption

Large Organizations

Consistency and uniformity of approach within a large organization enables new hires to catch on more quickly and learn more about the broader operations within the business. Additionally, when new problems arise, the company and its people can more quickly adapt and address the problem with a software-enabled solution that is already a part of the technological foundations of the business.

Mid-Sized Organizations

For a mid-sized, growing company, one of the greatest advantages they can give themselves is access to valuable business insights and the ability to act on them quickly. The development accelerator approach enables both advantages and empowers the business to respond to market conditions that less technology-enabled competitors might never see.

Small Organizations

While technology can be an afterthought for a small business, taking the time to instantiate a dynamic platform that can help the business today. Enabling growth for tomorrow can mean the difference between a business that tries and shelves dozens of software solutions and one that owns its present and future with a single tool built and founded with the unique qualities that make the company a unique player in the market.

Project Phases

Initiate

Get the project started with some initial introductions and levelsetting discussions to set the standards for team communications, organization and escalations.

Discovery

A series of meetings focused on helping us get an insiders look at your organization and the problems that need to be addressed.

Design

A process that involves using our previous experiences and the knowledge gained from the Discovery phase with the primary goal of creating a blueprint for the Future State technology and processes.

Build/Test

Using a MVP based Agile methodology, this phase of the project can adapt to new discoveries and requirements while ensuring rapid deployment of core functionality.

Deploy

A core functionality deployment that stands up the new system, trains the users and sets the foundation for future incremental rollouts of new features.
